Petition addressed to: Luzerne County District Attorney Samuel Sangudolce
Bernie Twerdi, Jr., age 17, died under mysterious circumstances while another person was in his home. Despite evidence of a struggle, the other person in the house was treated as a 'witness' rather than the main suspect by the then-chief of police in Larksville, PA.
All requests to reopen the case have been ignored by the local and state police, as well as the current Luzerne County District Attorney.
If you could please sign our petition to re-open the case, it would be greatly appreciated.
Reason
It is very important that cases like this are brought to light, as this could happen to anyone in Luzerne County. You would not want the horrendous travesty of justice that happened to Bernie and his family to happen to you.
