My son, Bernard, found his calling as a child, then his home away from Vermont, at Mammoth. His spirit, and the spirit of the Sierra Nevada Mountains were one. His attitude, altitude. He met kindred spirits. Together, they soared. Then, an amazing thing happened. He met Amber and they created Alexander. Way leads onto way. Spirit speaks of the eternal, the oneness that embraces us all. Memory honors spirit and cushions us agains grief. This beautiful act keeps Bernard's memory alive.
No CONTRA argument yet.
This is important to me as I am currently living in mammoth lakes, and skiing at the mountain regularly. Bernie was a legend, and someone who has greatly supported the legacy of mammoth. Someone who gave so much to a mountain deserves the honor of having a chair named after them.
